Configuration Control Briefing

This is the start of the configuration control briefing. You can use the buttons at the top of each slide to move back and forth through the briefing.

Please note that the major point of this briefing is that configuration management and configuration control decisions are best made on a program by program basis. It would seem to be common sense that the management of a B2 Bomber Aircraft or an Eishenhower Class Aircraft Carrier will be far different from that of commercial "off the shelf computer" application software; however, experience has shown that this point does frequently have to be made.

This briefing's target audience is military and government people. Thus, it might be confusing for those not accustomed to military/government jargon. Please feel free to send any questions on this briefings to the webmaster at System Support Webmaster
